Karma
Most of our lives is spent doing physical activities, we are after all physical beings living in a physical world, and even though most of us intrinsically know and feel that we have a soul, that feeling is mostly flickering as a tiny flame in the background of our lives. As such, our focus is predominantly on the physical, and for most people this remains the same throughout their entire lifespans. So, at the end of our lifetime, when we die and leave our bodies, we may very well find, that we are still somewhat attached to the physical. Some of us may think: “Oh, that was fun! I want to do that again!” Or something in the lines of: “I wish to further experience what it feels like to…:
- Eat tasty food”
- Drink”
- Smoke”
- Go through sadness”
- Fall in love”
- Have sex”
- Be a hero”
- Be a king”
- Be a villain”
- Be a saint”
- Live in a physical body”
All these points mentioned here are all things than can only be experienced in a physical body in a physical reality, and as such, most of us elect to re-incarnate with the aim to clear the attachment to the physical. Obviously, there’s myriad other reasons why one would elect to incarnate into the physical world, the given examples here are simply from a karmic perspective.

How is Karma resolved?
Section titled “How is Karma resolved?”As Souls incarnating into the physical, we work on ourselves and gradually remove all karmic links that anchor us towards the physical, until one point in our evolution where we have mastered life in the physical on longer gain any evolutionary benefit from incarnation. A most useful mantra for resolving karma is as follows: “Be in the physical, but not of the physical”.
